Hi! My name is Ana, I’m 27 years old and live in San Diego, CA.

I’m just trying to learn more about cooking. My goals are very simple: I like to make things that are easy to make. I like to eat healthy but also tasty food.

Recently I’ve embarked in a low-carb, low-sugar, low-grain and low-gluten journey. I try to avoid processed food, too. I’m not very drastic though; I am just trying to keep some sort of balance. If I can live better and longer, I’ll try it.

So far I can tell that eating healthy has helped me maintain my weigh (even though I feel like I eat a lot) and most importantly, maintain a balanced energy level throughout the day. It used to be the case I would feel very sleepy after lunch and very tired at the end of the afternoon… not so much anymore.

Unfortunately I feel that the more I avoid some types of food, the worse I feel when I occasionally eat them. Maybe that’s a good thing, I don’t know yet.
